SAGE EXPERIENCE LAUNCHES

If at first you don't succeed, try a new campaign. That's the hidden message as Sage North America is rolling out its new advertising campaign, the Sage Experience, which replaces the former Sage 360 campaign. The official press release explained the effort as follows: "Through a series of ads, each incorporating the overall "experience" theme, Sage's new campaign invites the audience to experience the benefits of working with Sage, including "fierce customer loyalty" "deeper visibility into your business" and "profits when others feel the pain." The campaign launches during March Madness with the 64 different Sage accounting products playing down to the last product standing. I'm sorry, that's basketball teams. I don't suppose Sage will be using the tag line "Are you experienced?" One experience that Sage needs to figure out is its Accountants Network Program. My advice is to forget trying to sell Peachtree to accountants. That battle is over. Intuit won. The other thing it must do is convert its current program Web page into a page that's actually for accountants. Right now, it's just a software order form. And it needs some publicity for the network.
